Pre went off to Beautiful Days,
a festival run by the Levellers.
It was good fun, he tells me,
some of the best booze at any festy ever,
the suicider as strong and dry as, well,
as it’s name implies really.
Tasty, so dry you can mop up with it.
Lamb and Gong and Wonder Stuff,
Banco De Gia and The Pogues,
and fireworks at the end with the Levellers
All great fun.
That’s likely the end of the summer though,
Autumn is upon us,
like a thing that turns the leaves red.
